Wow, I really don't have much time.
What should I do? That was my first thought when I started designing this season's collection. I took the AW24 collection to Paris for the first time, followed by an exhibition in Tokyo, and then held my first show the following month. Since I basically run the brand on my own, honestly, I couldn't even think about SS25 until after the show was over. I wonder how other fashion designers and brands manage it all. With little time left and feeling that last season's concept could have been developed further, I decided to continue the AW24 concept for my self-introduction and trying to organaise my previous works. There was no choice but to do it, and once I made up my mind, ideas started coming.
However, there was really no time , no knowledge, no money because of the show. There was nothing, like no, no, no. I consulted many people, including factories, knitters, and others who have been supporting me, and they generously shared their advice. Somehow, the collection came together and turned out to be one that I truly love. Although I started this collection thinking "I don't have this, I don't have that," it became a gathering of unseen efforts and love from many people, filled with feelings and professionalism. To everyone who taught me and worked with me, thank you so much. Although I manage the brand alone, I realise I am not entirely alone. I will strive to start designing ealier. And to everyone who will see and wear this collection, thank you so much. I hope you enjoy SS25, which is made from meeting new and old people, talking to them and a bit of self-introduction.
