I wanted to create a lightweight cardigan, so I decided to go with lace knitting. It was a straightforward decision, but the result turned out to be amazing. I aimed for a broken lace knitting look and consulted with the factory about the lace patterns, learning a lot from them.
This design truly is a blend of ideas from two of us. Thank you, Mr. Okamura. I alternated between two materials to create large stripes. Lace is also hidden within the cable knitting.
Additionally, there are drop stitches here and there, but they have been secured to prevent them from unraveling further. When I was designing the color of the Black knitting, my hand slipped and a different color appeared on the screen than I had intended. However,
it looked great, so I decided to go with it. It’ s broken in that way too.
