LS POLO BLACK
Designer Makoto Matsui presented his first collection, Abelia Edward Gosha, in 2021.
The brand name comes from a small flower he often saw on his way to school, reflecting his eye for capturing inspiration in everyday moments.
Makoto works freely, without being confined to any particular framework, creating each season the pieces he truly wants to make.
His designs are fluid, revealing an elegant grace through delicate details.
This time, he was drawn more to “polo” than “shirt,” so he made a long-sleeve polo using a soft, stretchy woven fabric.
At first glance it appears simple, but subtle differences in the proportions of the ribbing and placket stand out.
The hidden placket shows only the top shell button when fully fastened, giving a refined impression, while opening the deep placket creates a more relaxed, casual look.
